Recycled aluminium bicycle


Ricicletta is a city bike made from recycled aluminium and promoted by CiAl (Aluminium Packaging Consortium) in several Italian cities. During the official presentation of the bike in Brescia, Mario Bertoli, Metra's CEO, stressed Italy's leadership in the European extruded aluminium field. Ricicletta has an extremely light aluminium frame and a practical three-gear speed box mounted on the back wheel. CiAl developed this project in collaboration with Speed Cross. Dimensions: 170x84 cm. Materials: 50% new aluminium and 50% post consumer recycled aluminium.
