Last November, for the third year in a row, METRA took part in the Build Boston Exhibit, presenting systems for architecture purposely built for the American market, which shows encouraging signs of recovery. This is proven by the fact that METRA recorded several more contacts than in 2009, both from designers that requested consulting for ongoing projects and fabricators that were provided with cost estimates. For the American market, METRA developed special products that stand out for European technology, high performance and AAMA-WDMACSA standards. Moreover, METRA takes part to the most important exhibitions in order to meet directly the industry operators (designers, companies, fabricators). METRA's systems for architecture are increasingly appreciated because they are the first European systems to be produced locally an constantly monitored during the production cycle. At the Build Boston Exhibition, METRA presented the following systems: NC-S 120 STH Montreal that provides the highest level of acoustic performance in its category; NC 150 STH Rodos; NC 82 STH Superthermic Garden Door, also available for windows and Window Wall NC 135 WW, that has been specifically designed for residential conversion of industrial buildings and can be mounted from the inside, hence reducing installation costs. The exhibition stand featured a series of glasses with integrated sun blades produced by Unicell, a leading brand in the American market that established an important commercial collaboration with METRA.
